Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu stated that his government prioritises public welfare and relief operations over elections and political considerations, especially when dealing with successive cyclones. He criticised the previous YSRCP government for alleged damage to the state and publicity-driven visits to cyclone-hit areas. Naidu inspected crop damage in Bapatla and Guntur districts due to Cyclone Murasu, assuring farmers of comprehensive damage assessment and timely relief. The government is also mobilising resources from neighbouring states to expedite restoration works following extensive damage from Cyclones Arnab and Murasu.
