Nifty Holds Above 23,250 Amid Cautious Trade

Indian benchmark indices traded near day's high, with Nifty surpassing 23,250, supported by positive Asian markets and a pause in crude oil rallies. The S&P BSE Sensex gained 425.42 points, and Nifty 50 added 141.90 points. Investors await the US Federal Reserve's policy meeting. Meanwhile, UPI will introduce a targeted Merchant Discount Rate regime from October 15, 2026, impacting certain transactions.

भारतीय शेयर बाज़ार में आज तेज़ी देखी गई। Nifty 23,250 के पार निकल गया। एशियाई बाज़ारों की अच्छी चाल और कच्चे तेल की कीमतों में नरमी से बाज़ार को सहारा मिला। Sensex 425 अंक और Nifty 141 अंक चढ़े। निवेशक अब US Federal Reserve की मीटिंग का इंतज़ार कर रहे हैं। वहीं, 15 अक्टूबर 2026 से UPI पर कुछ खास लेन-देन के लिए Merchant Discount Rate लागू होगा।
