INDIA गठबंधन की पार्टियों ने जम्मू और कश्मीर में CEC के खिलाफ विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। कांग्रेस कार्यकर्ताओं ने श्रीनगर और अनंतनाग में नेशनल कॉन्फ्रेंस और PDP सदस्यों के साथ मिलकर प्रदर्शन किया। श्रीनगर में कांग्रेस मुख्यालय के बाहर सुरक्षा कड़ी कर दी गई थी, जिसमें स्थिति को संभालने के लिए बैरिकेड्स और सुरक्षा बल तैनात थे। प्रदर्शनकारी CEC के इस्तीफे और उनके खिलाफ कड़ी कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं। अधिकारियों द्वारा प्रदर्शनों के दौरान कानून और व्यवस्था बनाए रखने के लिए कड़ी निगरानी रखी जा रही है।
