Indian Gaur Rescued From Snare In Andhra Pradesh

Forest officials in Andhra Pradesh's Polavaram district successfully rescued a 750-kilogram female Indian Gaur that was trapped in a wire snare. The animal was found in the Eco-Sensitive Zone of Papikonda National Park on September 10. A team, including veterinarians, administered initial treatment before the gaur was transferred to the Animal Rescue Centre in Visakhapatnam for advanced care and rehabilitation. The gaur is reportedly responding well to treatment and showing signs of recovery.

आंध्र प्रदेश के पोलावरम जिले में वन अधिकारियों ने एक तार के फंदे में फंसी 750 किलोग्राम की एक मादा भारतीय गौर को सफलतापूर्वक बचा लिया। यह जानवर 10 सितंबर को पापीकोंडा नेशनल पार्क के इको-सेंसिटिव ज़ोन में मिला था। पशु चिकित्सकों की एक टीम ने प्रारंभिक उपचार दिया, जिसके बाद गौर को उन्नत देखभाल और पुनर्वास के लिए विशाखापत्तनम के एनिमल रेस्क्यू सेंटर में ले जाया गया।
