Rising waters of the Gomti River have submerged low-lying areas of Lucknow, leaving thousands of residents struggling for essential supplies. Families in neighborhoods like Faizullaganj and Daudnagar are facing critical shortages of safe drinking water and medicines as borewells become contaminated and access to pharmacies is cut off. The flooding has also disrupted electricity and made reaching medical facilities difficult, with the government hospital in Daudnagar surrounded by water. Residents are urgently seeking medical teams and supplies to cope with the escalating crisis.
