This new requirement stems from a review of customary practices and provisions under the Mizo Marriage and Inheritance of Property (Amendment) Act, 2026. मिजोरम में दोबारा शादी करने वालों के लिए अब कोर्ट से मिला तलाक का सर्टिफिकेट दिखाना ज़रूरी होगा। यह नया नियम वहां के रिवाजों और मिज़ो मैरिज एंड इनहेरिटेंस ऑफ प्रॉपर्टी (अमेंडमेंट) एक्ट, 2026 के तहत बनाया गया है। इसका मकसद है कि शादी से पहले लोगों की वैवाहिक स्थिति साफ हो और वे कानून का पालन करें।
