This directive was issued during a high-level review meeting focused on expediting highway projects across the state. The minister also emphasized reducing delays in project approvals and construction initiation. Officials were instructed to finalize DPRs and technical procedures promptly for other key projects, including the Darbhanga-Jayanagar and Arwal-Biharsharif stretches. The aim is to strengthen road connectivity and streamline project execution.

बिहार के पथ निर्माण मंत्री कुमार शैलेंद्र ने अधिकारियों को 146 किलोमीटर लंबे राम जानकी मार्ग की विस्तृत परियोजना रिपोर्ट (DPR) एक हफ्ते के अंदर तैयार कर जमा करने का निर्देश दिया है। यह निर्देश राज्य भर में राजमार्ग परियोजनाओं में तेजी लाने पर केंद्रित एक उच्च-स्तरीय समीक्षा बैठक के दौरान दिया गया। मंत्री ने परियोजना की मंजूरी और निर्माण शुरू करने में देरी को कम करने पर भी जोर दिया। अधिकारियों को दरभंगा-जयनगर और अरवल-बिहारशरीफ खंडों सहित अन्य प्रमुख परियोजनाओं के लिए डीपीआर और तकनीकी प्रक्रियाओं को तुरंत अंतिम रूप देने का निर्देश दिया गया। इसका उद्देश्य सड़क संपर्क को मजबूत करना और परियोजना निष्पादन को सुव्यवस्थित करना है।
