Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has accused the central government of misusing investigative agencies like the ED and CBI for political purposes, particularly during election periods. He cited examples from Jharkhand, West Bengal, Delhi, Haryana, and Rajasthan where opposition leaders faced action months before elections. Mann stated that while he respects court orders, the speed of investigations against his government is questionable, especially when many cases remain pending for years. He asserted that his government and party are ready to face any investigation and are not afraid.

पंजाब के मुख्यमंत्री भगवंत मान ने केंद्र सरकार पर राजनीतिक उद्देश्यों के लिए, खासकर चुनाव के दौरान, ED और CBI जैसी जांच एजेंसियों के दुरुपयोग का आरोप लगाया है। उन्होंने झारखंड, पश्चिम बंगाल, दिल्ली, हरियाणा और राजस्थान के उदाहरण दिए जहां विपक्षी नेताओं को चुनावों से कुछ महीने पहले कार्रवाई का सामना करना पड़ा। मान ने कहा कि वह अदालती आदेशों का सम्मान करते हैं, लेकिन उनकी सरकार के खिलाफ जांच की गति संदिग्ध है, खासकर जब कई मामले सालों से लंबित हैं। उन्होंने जोर देकर कहा कि उनकी सरकार और पार्टी किसी भी जांच का सामना करने के लिए तैयार हैं और उन्हें डर नहीं है।
