Tejas Mk-1A To Get 12 New US Engines

India's indigenous Tejas Mk-1A fighter jet program is set to accelerate with the upcoming arrival of 12 new engines from American company GE Aerospace. Defence Secretary Rajesh Kumar announced that these crucial engines will be received by the end of this year. Delays in engine supply had previously impacted production, but GE Aerospace has now committed to delivering four engines monthly. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited has 27 airframes ready, with 11 aircraft already fitted with engines.

तेजस Mk-1A को अमेरिका से मिलेंगे 12 नए इंजन

भारत के स्वदेशी तेजस Mk-1A फाइटर जेट प्रोग्राम को अमेरिकी कंपनी GE Aerospace से आने वाले 12 नए इंजनों से तेजी मिलेगी। रक्षा सचिव राजेश कुमार ने घोषणा की कि ये महत्वपूर्ण इंजन इस साल के अंत तक मिल जाएंगे। इंजन की सप्लाई में देरी से पहले उत्पादन प्रभावित हुआ था, लेकिन अब GE Aerospace हर महीने चार इंजन देने के लिए तैयार हो गई है। हिंदुस्तान एयरोनॉटिक्स लिमिटेड के पास 27 एयरफ्रेम तैयार हैं, जिनमें से 11 विमानों में पहले से इंजन लगे हुए हैं।
