Maratha activist ends 20-day fast, gives govt ultimatum

मराठा आरक्षण कार्यकर्ता मनोज जरांगे पाटील ने गुरुवार को अपना 20 दिन का अनशन खत्म कर दिया। उन्होंने महाराष्ट्र सरकार को उनकी मांगों पर विचार करने के लिए तीन महीने का समय दिया है। स्वास्थ्य बिगड़ने और मुंबई तक की नियोजित पदयात्रा की थकान को उन्होंने इसका कारण बताया। पाटील ने कहा कि 58 लाख पुराने दस्तावेज मिले हैं, जिनसे 2.5 करोड़ मराठों को आरक्षण का लाभ मिल सकता है। उनकी मुख्य मांग इन दस्तावेजों को सरकारी गजट में मान्यता दिलाना है।
