Ireda Posts 1% Rise in Q2 Net Profit, Loan Disbursements Surge 31%

State-owned Ireda reported a marginal increase in its standalone net profit to ₹554 crore for the September quarter, up from ₹549 crore in the same period last year. Revenue from operations grew 14% to ₹2,345 crore, while loan disbursements saw a significant 31% rise, reaching ₹10,579 crore. The company's loan book expanded by 15% to ₹97,411 crore, and its net worth increased by 11% to ₹14,337 crore. Chairman and Managing Director Bijay Kumar Mohanty highlighted the strong business fundamentals and sustained demand for renewable energy financing.
