The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has allowed candidates who completed their Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) in the 2024-26 session to apply for the TRE 4.0 teacher recruitment drive. These candidates can now upload their marksheets to apply for the 33,320 available teaching positions. This decision follows protests from D.El.Ed students seeking inclusion in the process. The move is expected to significantly increase competition by adding an estimated 15,000 to 20,000 applicants to the pool. All other eligibility criteria must still be met.
