IndiGo Flight Suffers Nose Damage After Lightning Strike, Lands Safely

An IndiGo flight from Patna to Lucknow experienced a lightning strike at 17,000 feet, causing damage to the aircraft's nose radome. The flight, carrying 104 passengers and six crew members, landed safely at Lucknow's Chaudhary Charan Singh Airport. Pilots were reportedly unaware of the extent of the damage until after landing. India's aviation regulator, the DGCA, has initiated a probe into the incident. The aircraft will undergo necessary maintenance and inspections before resuming operations.

पटना से लखनऊ जा रही इंडिगो की फ्लाइट 17,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बिजली की चपेट में आ गई, जिससे विमान के नाक वाले हिस्से (radome) को नुकसान पहुंचा। 104 यात्रियों और छह क्रू मेंबर्स वाले इस विमान ने लखनऊ के चौधरी चरण सिंह एयरपोर्ट पर सुरक्षित लैंडिंग की। रिपोर्टों के मुताबिक, लैंडिंग के बाद ही पायलटों को नुकसान की गंभीरता का पता चला। भारत के एविएशन रेगुलेटर, DGCA ने इस घटना की जांच शुरू कर दी है। विमान को दोबारा उड़ान भरने से पहले जरूरी रखरखाव और जांच से गुजरना होगा।
