Rapper Dr Dre has sold his nearly 9,000-square-foot Malibu mansion for $16.5 million, more than three times the $4.8 million he paid in 2000. The contemporary-style, six-bedroom property is located on Billionaire's Beach and features ocean views, a sauna, gym, and recording studio. The sale occurred off-market after the house spent several years listed with fluctuating asking prices, initially attempting to sell in 2012 and relisting in 2022 for $20 million. This sale significantly surpasses his previous property sales in Woodland Hills and Calabasas.
