Citing an HT report, the bench noted that markets were selling all types of crackers, including unlicensed ones and those without QR codes. Vendors were also taking home-delivery orders despite a ban on online sales. The court has asked the Centre, Delhi government, and police to take action against the violations. सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने दिल्ली-एनसीआर में पटाखों की बिक्री पर सवाल उठाए हैं, ग्रीन क्रैकर्स की इजाजत देने के ठीक एक दिन बाद। एचटी की एक रिपोर्ट का हवाला देते हुए, बेंच ने कहा कि बाज़ारों में बिना लाइसेंस वाले और क्यूआर कोड के बिना सभी तरह के पटाखे बेचे जा रहे थे। विक्रेता होम-डिलीवरी के ऑर्डर भी ले रहे थे, जबकि ऑनलाइन बिक्री पर रोक लगी हुई थी। कोर्ट ने केंद्र, दिल्ली सरकार और पुलिस से इन उल्लंघनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करने को कहा है। इस घटना से दिवाली के दौरान प्रदूषण को नियंत्रित करने की चिंताएं बढ़ गई हैं।
