Opposition parties in India continued their protests nationwide, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The INDIA bloc, led by Rahul Gandhi, held a demonstration at Raj Ghat in Delhi, paying homage to Mahatma Gandhi. Similar protests occurred in Bihar, Rajasthan, and Jammu and Kashmir, with opposition leaders accusing the government of hijacking the constitution and stealing votes. The BJP countered, questioning the opposition's faith in the judiciary and accusing them of street politics. In Patna, RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav was detained.

भारत में विपक्षी दलों ने मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञान‌ेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग को लेकर देश भर में अपना विरोध प्रदर्शन जारी रखा। राहुल गांधी के नेतृत्व वाले INDIA गठबंधन ने महात्मा गांधी को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए दिल्ली में राज घाट पर एक प्रदर्शन किया। बिहार, राजस्थान और जम्मू और कश्मीर में भी इसी तरह के विरोध प्रदर्शन हुए, जिसमें विपक्षी नेताओं ने सरकार पर संविधान को हाईजैक करने और वोट चुराने का आरोप लगाया। भाजपा ने पलटवार करते हुए विपक्ष के न्यायपालिका में विश्वास पर सवाल उठाया और उन पर सड़क की राजनीति करने का आरोप लगाया। पटना में राजद नेता तेजस्वी यादव को हिरासत में लिया गया।
