कर्नाटक के विकास मंत्री कृष्णा बायरेगौड़ा ने अधिकारियों को ग्रामीण बेंगलुरु के लिए पीने के पानी के स्थायी समाधान को प्राथमिकता देने का निर्देश दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि ग्राम पंचायत के पैसों का इस्तेमाल टिकाऊ इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर के लिए हो, और नए बोरवेल खोदने के बजाय पुराने बंद बोरवेलों का फिर से इस्तेमाल करने पर ध्यान दें। मंत्री ने जोर दिया कि विकास का पैसा लोगों की समस्याएं हल करे, और कचरा प्रबंधन के लिए वैज्ञानिक तरीका अपनाएं।
