उत्तर प्रदेश के बरेली में साइबर धोखाधड़ी की घटनाएं बढ़ रही हैं, जिसमें पीड़ितों ने छह अलग-अलग मामलों में करीब ₹5.40 लाख गंवाए हैं। ठग लोगों को धोखा देने के लिए नौकरी के प्रस्तावों और टेलीग्राम लिंक सहित विभिन्न तरीकों का इस्तेमाल कर रहे हैं। एक मामले में, टेलीग्राम पर भेजे गए लिंक पर क्लिक करने के बाद एक पीड़ित ने ₹4.42 लाख गंवा दिए। एक अन्य मामले में, नौकरी के घोटाले में ₹87,000 का नुकसान हुआ। पुलिस ने मामले दर्ज कर जांच शुरू कर दी है और जनता से अनजान कॉल, लिंक और ऑनलाइन प्रस्तावों से सावधान रहने का आग्रह किया है।
