Naomi Osaka Prioritises Daughter Over Tennis Career, Future Uncertain

Four-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka has revealed that her daughter Shai's feelings will significantly influence her future in tennis. Osaka stated she is not the type of person to ignore her daughter's wishes if Shai expresses a desire for her to travel less. This shift in priorities comes after Osaka's return to the sport in 2023, following a 15-month break after Shai's birth. While still ambitious, Osaka acknowledged that her life and perspective have changed considerably since becoming a mother, and tennis no longer consumes her entire focus.
