SMS of Death Vulnerability Threatens Millions of Android Smartphones

A critical security flaw named 'SMS of Death' has been discovered, posing a significant threat to millions of Android smartphone users worldwide. This vulnerability allows a specially crafted SMS message to crash the phone's system, rendering the device inoperable and potentially causing it to enter a bootloop. The attack targets the phone call management system, disabling calls and preventing emergency dialling. Even a factory reset does not resolve the issue, as the system attempts to re-process the message upon restart.
