The Indian Rupee saw a recovery of 22 paise against the US dollar in early trade, reaching 96.5. This occurred despite Brent crude oil prices surpassing $100 a barrel. The Reserve Bank of India's intervention is believed to have stabilized the domestic currency. However, foreign institutional investor outflows and weak domestic equities limited further gains for the Rupee.
