India's PM CARES Fund's audited accounts for 2024-25 reveal reserves of Rs 8,452.07 crore. The fund spent only Rs 87.85 lakh in the same period, drawing attention to its large balance and low expenditure. Nearly 93% of the corpus is held in fixed deposits. पीएम केयर्स फंड के 2024-25 के ऑडिट हुए खातों में 8,452.07 करोड़ रुपये का रिज़र्व दिखाया गया है। इस दौरान फंड ने सिर्फ 87.85 लाख रुपये खर्च किए। फंड का बड़ा हिस्सा, करीब 93%, फिक्स्ड डिपॉज़िट में रखा है। फंड ने ब्याज से लगभग 475 करोड़ रुपये कमाए हैं। यह बड़ी राशि और कम खर्च चर्चा का विषय बना हुआ है।
