PV Sindhu Reaches Historic Japan Open Final

PV Sindhu has reached the Japan Open 2026 final, becoming the first Indian woman to do so. She advanced after her opponent Chen Yufei retired due to injury. This victory breaks Sindhu's losing streak against Chen since 2019. It marks her first BWF Tour title match appearance in over two years. Sindhu will now face Akane Yamaguchi for the championship title.

पीवी सिंधु जापान ओपन 2026 के फाइनल में पहुँच गई हैं। ऐसा करने वाली वह पहली भारतीय महिला हैं। उनके प्रतिद्वंद्वी चेन यूफेई के चोटिल होने के कारण हटने के बाद सिंधु फाइनल में पहुंचीं। 2019 के बाद से चेन के खिलाफ सिंधु की हार का सिलसिला भी टूट गया है। यह दो साल से अधिक समय में उनका पहला BWF Tour खिताब मैच है। अब सिंधु चैंपियनशिप के लिए अकाने यामागुची से भिड़ेंगी।
