Mathura Food Department Seizes 25 Quintal Adulterated Paneer

Mathura's food safety department has taken significant action against adulterators ahead of Diwali, seizing a large consignment of suspected adulterated paneer. The operation, conducted, intercepted a Bolero pickup vehicle carrying approximately 2500 kg of paneer from Rajasthan. The driver could not provide proper documentation for the sale, and the quality was deemed suspicious. In the public interest, the entire 25 quintal stock, estimated at over ₹5 lakh, was destroyed on the spot. Samples have been sent for laboratory testing, with further action pending the report.

दिवाली से पहले मिलावटखोरों के खिलाफ मथुरा के खाद्य सुरक्षा विभाग ने बड़ी कार्रवाई की है। विभाग ने कथित तौर पर मिलावटी पनीर की एक बड़ी खेप जब्त की है। यह कार्रवाई तब हुई जब राजस्थान से लाए जा रहे करीब 2500 किलो पनीर से लदे एक बोलेरो पिकअप वाहन को रोका गया। गाड़ी चला रहे व्यक्ति के पास पनीर की बिक्री के लिए कोई उचित कागजात नहीं थे और पनीर की गुणवत्ता भी संदिग्ध पाई गई। जनहित को देखते हुए, मौके पर ही 25 क्विंटल पनीर के पूरे स्टॉक को नष्ट कर दिया गया, जिसकी कीमत 5 लाख रुपये से अधिक बताई जा रही है।
