NCW Seeks Immediate Arrest in Bihar Harassment Case

The National Commission for Women (NCW) has taken suo motu cognizance of a harassment and assault incident involving a young woman and her male companion in Bihar's Jamui district. Following a video of the incident that surfaced on social media, NCW chairperson Vijaya Rahatkar urged the Bihar DGP for an immediate FIR, identification, and arrest of perpetrators. The commission emphasized using video footage for identification.
