The once grand fort of Bhar King Alde in Sultanpur's Aldemau, a symbol of royal power, has shrunk to the size of a charpai. Historical accounts suggest the Bhar dynasty was known for its bravery, but their influence waned with the rise of Rajput and Muslim rulers. Historians note that Alde and Malde, two Bhar brothers, founded Aldemau, with Alde establishing his fort there. Over time, neglect and the ravages of history caused most of the fort to be buried in soil, leaving only a small remnant.
