Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur revealed on 'Koffee With Karan' that he once got so drunk on the set of 'Aashiqui 2' that the day's shoot had to be concluded early. He explained that he tried drinking for a few scenes as part of his role as an alcoholic singer, but it led to slurred lines. Co-star Shraddha Kapoor humorously confirmed his slurring, adding that it was fun to watch. The film, released in 2013, was a commercial success and has since gained cult status.

बॉलीवुड एक्टर आदित्य रॉय कपूर ने 'कॉफ़ी विद करण' पर बताया कि वो 'आशिकी 2' के सेट पर एक बार इतने नशे में हो गए थे कि उस दिन की शूटिंग जल्दी खत्म करनी पड़ी थी। उन्होंने बताया कि एक शराबी सिंगर के अपने रोल के लिए उन्होंने कुछ सीन में पीने की कोशिश की थी, लेकिन इससे उनके डायलॉग लड़खड़ाने लगे। को-स्टार श्रद्धा कपूर ने मज़ाकिया अंदाज़ में उनके लड़खड़ाने की बात की पुष्टि की और कहा कि यह देखना मज़ेदार था। 2013 में रिलीज़ हुई यह फिल्म व्यावसायिक रूप से सफल रही और तब से इसे कल्ट स्टेटस मिल गया है।
