Karnataka Considers Three-Layer OMR Sheets For Exams

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) is exploring the use of three-layered OMR sheets to combat malpractices in recruitment exams. This system would provide a copy for KEA, a copy for candidates, and a third copy to be stored securely at district Deputy Commissioners' offices. The KEA trialled these triple-layered OMR sheets during a recent Police Constable recruitment exam. This move comes amid ongoing investigations into recruitment irregularities at the Karnataka Public Service Commission. The proposed system aims to facilitate verification and prevent alleged OMR sheet tampering.
