The University of Calicut is set to overhaul its undergraduate and postgraduate curricula by integrating artificial intelligence and foundational computing knowledge. This strategic move aims to address the rapidly evolving global job market and the increasing trend of students seeking higher education abroad. The reforms will leverage existing university infrastructure without increasing teacher workload. Massive Open Online Courses will be introduced in Malayalam and English to enhance access to technical education.

कैलिकट यूनिवर्सिटी अपने अंडरग्रेजुएट और पोस्टग्रेजुएट सिलेबस को आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस और कंप्यूटिंग के बुनियादी ज्ञान के साथ बदलने जा रही है। इस कदम का मकसद तेजी से बदल रहे ग्लोबल जॉब मार्केट और विदेश में उच्च शिक्षा के लिए बढ़ते रुझान को पूरा करना है। ये बदलाव यूनिवर्सिटी के मौजूदा इंफ्रास्ट्रक्चर का इस्तेमाल करेंगे और शिक्षकों पर काम का बोझ नहीं बढ़ाएंगे। तकनीकी शिक्षा को आसान बनाने के लिए मलयालम और अंग्रेजी में मैसिव ओपन ऑनलाइन कोर्सेज (MOOCs) शुरू किए जाएंगे।
