Damar Hamlin Sets Guinness World Record Teaching CPR

Times of India - India · india

NFL player Damar Hamlin has set a Guinness World Record by teaching hands-only CPR to 1,293 people in just one hour in Pittsburgh. The event, held at Acrisure Stadium during the NFL Draft, was a collaboration with the American Heart Association and Dr. Mike. This initiative aims to improve emergency response training, a cause deeply personal to Hamlin after he survived a cardiac arrest in January 2023. The session broke the previous record for the most people trained in CPR at a single location within an hour.
