Rewari police have busted a fuel smuggling racket, seizing over 2,200 litres of a petrol-ethanol mixture from a hideout in Khijuri village. The operation also led to the confiscation of two modified pickup vehicles and specialized machinery used for fuel transportation. Police acted on specific intelligence and are now conducting raids to apprehend the suspects who fled the scene. This crackdown is part of a district-wide drive against fuel theft and illegal activities. Preliminary investigations suggest the fuel was being supplied to Rajasthan due to higher prices there.
