A 20-foot reclining robot sculpture named Hazmatt has been unveiled in Norman, Oklahoma, constructed entirely from discarded dumpsters and reclaimed materials. The artwork, funded by the City of Norman for just over $14,000, aims to encourage people to reconsider their relationship with waste and the environment. Created by artist Kenneth Eugene Hall Jr., Hazmatt is situated at the city's Household Hazardous Waste Facility. Its relaxed posture and the wildflower it holds are intended to convey a message of repurposing discarded items and environmental connection.
