German football club Borussia Dortmund is launching a new initiative to reward supporters who refrain from using their phones during matches. Fans can opt into a "fan mode" in the club's app, which tracks phone usage during games. Those who unlock their devices the least will earn points, with prizes like signed jerseys and gift cards on offer. The club aims to combat the increasing annoyance caused by excessive phone use, such as selfies and streaming, in the stands.
