Gujarat police have busted an interstate cyberfraud racket that duped victims through fake stock market investments. The alleged mastermind, 27-year-old Shailesh Kumar Lalan Mishra, was arrested from Buxar. The racket operated by adding individuals to WhatsApp groups, sharing fake tips, and persuading them to download investment apps. One victim lost Rs 10 lakh after an initial investment appeared profitable. Investigators traced Rs 4 lakh to a Buxar account used for transactions worth approximately Rs 1 crore, also seizing suspicious applications used to intercept bank OTPs.

गुजरात पुलिस ने एक अंतरराज्यीय साइबर धोखाधड़ी रैकेट का भंडाफोड़ किया है जिसने नकली शेयर बाजार निवेश के माध्यम से पीड़ितों को ठगा है। कथित मास्टरमाइंड, 27 वर्षीय शैलेश कुमार ललन मिश्रा को बक्सर से गिरफ्तार किया गया था। रैकेट व्हाट्सएप ग्रुपों में व्यक्तियों को जोड़कर, नकली टिप्स साझा करके और उन्हें निवेश ऐप डाउनलोड करने के लिए मनाकर संचालित होता था। एक पीड़ित ने शुरुआती निवेश के लाभदायक दिखने के बाद 10 लाख रुपये खो दिए। जांचकर्ताओं ने बक्सर के एक खाते का पता लगाया, जिसका उपयोग लगभग 1 करोड़ रुपये के लेनदेन के लिए किया गया था, और बैंक ओटीपी को रोकने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले संदिग्ध ऐप भी जब्त किए।
