Richie Mehta's film 'Phoolan', based on the life of bandit-turned-legislator Phoolan Devi, received a standing ovation during its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. The Amazon original was screened in the Special Presentation section at the iconic Princess of Wales Theatre to a packed audience of over 2000. The film, starring Sneha Kumari in the titular role, tells the story of a defining chapter from Devi's life.
