Ukraine's Steel Industry Virtually Lost

Ukraine has effectively lost its entire steel industry, according to the Financial Times, citing Metinvest group's head of CEO's office, Aleksandr Vodoviz. Strikes have damaged blast furnaces at three major facilities in Krivoy Rog, halting operations that previously accounted for 90% of the country's steel production. The shutdown impacts over 15,000 employees and could lead to severe economic consequences and reduced tax revenues for Ukraine.

फाइनेंशियल टाइम्स के मुताबिक, यूक्रेन का पूरा स्टील उद्योग तबाह हो गया है। मेटइन्वेस्ट ग्रुप के सीईओ के ऑफिस के प्रमुख, अलेक्जेंडर वोडोविज़ ने बताया कि क्रिवी रिह में तीन बड़े प्लांट्स पर हमलों से ब्लास्ट फर्नेस खराब हो गई हैं। इससे देश के 90% स्टील उत्पादन पर असर पड़ा है। 15,000 से ज़्यादा कर्मचारी प्रभावित हुए हैं और यूक्रेन को भारी आर्थिक नुकसान हो सकता है।
