Haryana Approves 100% EV Tax Exemption Up

The Haryana Cabinet has approved a 100% exemption from Motor Vehicle Tax for new registrations of pure electric two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and three-wheelers priced up to ₹30 lakh. Additionally, a 1% rebate will be offered on vehicles owned by women. This move aims to encourage the adoption of electric vehicles within the state, promoting cleaner transportation and potentially reducing air pollution.

हरियाणा कैबिनेट ने ₹30 लाख तक की नई इलेक्ट्रिक टू-व्हीलर, फोर-व्हीलर और थ्री-व्हीलर गाड़ियों के रजिस्ट्रेशन पर 100% मोटर व्हीकल टैक्स छूट को मंजूरी दे दी है। साथ ही, महिलाओं के नाम पर रजिस्टर्ड गाड़ियों पर 1% की छूट भी मिलेगी। इसका मकसद राज्य में इलेक्ट्रिक गाड़ियों के इस्तेमाल को बढ़ावा देना और प्रदूषण कम करना है।
