Residents of Sahugarh Panchayat in Madhepura district have established a strict social justice system to combat drug and liquor consumption. A fine of Rs 25,000 will be imposed on anyone caught consuming or selling narcotics within the village. Furthermore, families will not be permitted to bail out individuals jailed for drug-related offenses. This initiative aims to create strong social pressure and choke the supply chain at the local level.

मधेपुरा जिले के सहूगढ़ पंचायत के निवासियों ने नशीली दवाओं और शराब के सेवन से निपटने के लिए एक सख्त सामाजिक न्याय प्रणाली स्थापित की है। गांव के भीतर नशीले पदार्थों का सेवन या बिक्री करते पकड़े जाने वाले किसी भी व्यक्ति पर 25,000 रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया जाएगा। इसके अलावा, नशीली दवाओं से संबंधित अपराधों के लिए जेल में बंद व्यक्तियों को उनके परिवार वाले छुड़ा नहीं पाएंगे। इस पहल का उद्देश्य मजबूत सामाजिक दबाव बनाना और स्थानीय स्तर पर आपूर्ति श्रृंखला को बाधित करना है।
