Director Nelson Dilipkumar recalled how actor Thalapathy Vijay reassured him after their 2022 film 'Beast' received a mixed response. Despite the film's underwhelming box-office performance, Vijay told Nelson that their personal relationship remained unaffected and that they would make another film if 'Beast' didn't work. Nelson's account resurfaced as his latest film, 'Jailer 2', is receiving terrific reviews. Vijay had previously expressed hurt that Nelson doubted their bond due to the film's reception.
