Siddipet Celebrates 10 Years of District Formation

Siddipet is celebrating ten years since its formation as a district with a three-day public event. Former Minister T. Harish Rao highlighted the benefits of the district's creation, stating it brought administration closer to the people and improved public services. He credited former Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and the district administration for completing major irrigation projects like Ananthagiri and Mallannasagar, which transformed the region. Rao also accused the Congress of cancelling development projects over the past three years and alleged issues with water supply to irrigation projects.

सिद्धिपेट जिला बने हुए दस साल हो गए हैं, जिसका जश्न तीन दिवसीय सार्वजनिक कार्यक्रम के साथ मनाया जा रहा है। पूर्व मंत्री टी. हरीश राव ने जिला बनने के फायदों पर जोर दिया और कहा कि इससे प्रशासन लोगों के करीब आया और सार्वजनिक सेवाएं बेहतर हुईं। उन्होंने पूर्व मुख्यमंत्री के. चंद्रशेखर राव और जिला प्रशासन को अनंथगिरी और मल्लानसागर जैसी बड़ी सिंचाई परियोजनाओं को पूरा करने का श्रेय दिया, जिससे क्षेत्र में बदलाव आया। राव ने कांग्रेस पर पिछले तीन सालों में विकास परियोजनाओं को रद्द करने का आरोप भी लगाया और सिंचाई परियोजनाओं में पानी की आपूर्ति को लेकर समस्याएं गिनाईं।
