A 23-year-old man, Vikrant Tomar, has been arrested in Delhi for allegedly defrauding approximately 20 female police constables of ₹24 lakh. Tomar used a sophisticated method, posing as a wealthy businessman on Instagram and renting luxury cars to impress the women. He promised marriage before asking for money under various pretexts. Investigators suspect he had an insider advantage, possibly being in a live-in relationship with one of the constables from the same recruitment batch.
