Jaipur Development Authority Clears 700m Encroachments on Sodala-Gurjar Ki Thadi Road

JDA informed the Rajasthan High Court that it has cleared 700 metres of encroachments on the proposed 30-metre-wide road corridor between Sodala and Gurjar Ki Thadi. A multi-departmental operation involving JDA's enforcement, engineering, town planning, and revenue wings was launched after serving 210 notices. JDA requested an additional four weeks to complete the drive, citing occupant objections, protests, and jurisdictional issues with the Jaipur Municipal Corporation. The court is hearing a PIL regarding unauthorized constructions on roads in the area.

JDA ने राजस्थान हाई कोर्ट को बताया कि उन्होंने सोडाला और गुर्जर की थड़ी के बीच प्रस्तावित 30 मीटर चौड़े रोड कॉरिडोर पर 700 मीटर अतिक्रमण हटा दिया है। 210 नोटिस देने के बाद JDA के प्रवर्तन, इंजीनियरिंग, टाउन प्लानिंग और राजस्व विंग सहित एक बहु-विभागीय अभियान शुरू किया गया था। JDA ने कब्जाधारियों की आपत्तियों, विरोध प्रदर्शनों और जयपुर नगर निगम के साथ क्षेत्राधिकार के मुद्दों का हवाला देते हुए इस अभियान को पूरा करने के लिए चार सप्ताह का अतिरिक्त समय मांगा है। अदालत इस क्षेत्र में सड़कों पर अनधिकृत निर्माणों के संबंध में एक जनहित याचिका (PIL) पर सुनवाई कर रही है।
