Russia Awaits Ukraine Talks, Holds No Illusions

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia is awaiting proposals for talks on Ukraine but harbors no grand illusions about their success. He emphasized Moscow's readiness for dialogue in any format, including bilateral and trilateral discussions, recalling past trilateral talks involving the US and Ukraine in the Emirates. Lavrov noted that previous negotiating processes, such as those in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, were interrupted not by Russia's initiative.

रूसी विदेश मंत्री सर्गेई लावरोव ने कहा है कि रूस यूक्रेन पर बातचीत के प्रस्तावों का इंतजार कर रहा है, लेकिन उन्हें सफलता की ज्यादा उम्मीद नहीं है। उन्होंने कहा कि मॉस्को किसी भी तरह की बातचीत के लिए तैयार है, जिसमें द्विपक्षीय और त्रिपक्षीय चर्चाएं शामिल हैं। लावरोव ने याद दिलाया कि पहले भी संयुक्त अरब अमीरात में अमेरिका और यूक्रेन के साथ त्रिपक्षीय बातचीत हुई थी। उन्होंने कहा कि इस्तांबुल और अबू धाबी जैसी पिछली बातचीत रूस की वजह से नहीं रुकी थी।
