This move aims to alleviate pressure on the existing OPD, which serves patients from Jhansi, other Bundelkhand districts, and bordering areas of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The new facility will provide an additional avenue for patients to consult doctors, potentially reducing wait times and improving the overall patient experience. College Principal Professor Dr. Sudhir Kumar stated that this will streamline healthcare delivery and manage the increasing patient numbers more effectively.

झांसी का महारानी लक्ष्मीबाई मेडिकल कॉलेज अपने नए 500-बेड वाले अस्पताल में आउट पेशेंट डिपार्टमेंट (OPD) सेवाएं शुरू करने की तैयारी कर रहा है। इस कदम का मकसद मौजूदा OPD पर दबाव कम करना है, जो झांसी, बुंदेलखंड के अन्य जिलों और उत्तर प्रदेश व मध्य प्रदेश के सीमावर्ती इलाकों के मरीजों को सेवा देता है। नई सुविधा मरीजों को डॉक्टरों से सलाह लेने का एक अतिरिक्त जरिया प्रदान करेगी, जिससे प्रतीक्षा समय कम हो सकता है और मरीजों का समग्र अनुभव बेहतर हो सकता है। कॉलेज के प्रिंसिपल प्रोफेसर डॉ. सुधीर कुमार ने कहा कि इससे स्वास्थ्य सेवाओं की डिलीवरी सुव्यवस्थित होगी और बढ़ती मरीज संख्या को अधिक प्रभावी ढंग से प्रबंधित किया जा सकेगा।
