Haryana Police Set Up 12 Checkpoints To Curb Delhi Pollution

Haryana Police in Sonipat and Jhajjar districts will enforce restrictions on vehicles entering Delhi from November 1 to January 31 to combat winter pollution. Twelve checkpoints have been established in Sonipat to ensure vehicles meet emission standards, allowing only CNG, electric, and BS-VI compliant diesel vehicles. Police will check Pollution Under Control certificates and take action against vehicles emitting excessive smoke or exceeding age limits. Commuters may face traffic disruptions due to ongoing repair work on the Drain No. 8 flyover near Pyau Maniyari.

दिल्ली प्रदूषण रोकने के लिए हरियाणा पुलिस ने लगाए 12 चेकपॉइंट प्रदूषण फैलाने वाले वाहनों पर होगी कार्रवाई

सोनीपत और झज्जर जिलों में हरियाणा पुलिस 1 नवंबर से 31 जनवरी तक दिल्ली में प्रवेश करने वाले वाहनों पर पाबंदियां लगाएगी ताकि सर्दियों के प्रदूषण से निपटा जा सके। वाहनों के उत्सर्जन मानकों को पूरा करने के लिए सोनीपत में 12 चेकपॉइंट बनाए गए हैं, जिनमें केवल CNG, इलेक्ट्रिक और BS-VI कंप्लायंट डीजल वाहनों को ही अनुमति दी जाएगी। पुलिस प्रदूषण अंडर कंट्रोल सर्टिफिकेट की जांच करेगी और अत्यधिक धुआं छोड़ने वाले या आयु सीमा पार कर चुके वाहनों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई करेगी। प्याऊ मनिहारी के पास ड्रेन नंबर 8 फ्लाईओवर पर चल रहे मरम्मत कार्य के कारण यात्रियों को यातायात में बाधा का सामना करना पड़ सकता है।
