UP Anganwadi Workers Get Pay Hike, Rs 5 Lakh Health Cover

Uttar Pradesh has increased the monthly honorarium for Anganwadi workers from Rs 8,000 to Rs 12,000 and for helpers from Rs 4,000 to Rs 6,000. This decision, effective from September 2026, also includes a Rs 5 lakh annual cashless health facility for workers and their families. These frontline workers play a crucial role in implementing government schemes, from child nutrition to maternal care and health awareness.

उत्तर प्रदेश ने आंगनवाड़ी कार्यकर्ताओं का मासिक मानदेय 8,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 12,000 रुपये और सहायिकाओं का 4,000 रुपये से बढ़ाकर 6,000 रुपये कर दिया है। यह फैसला, जो सितंबर 2026 से प्रभावी होगा, में कार्यकर्ताओं और उनके परिवारों के लिए 5 लाख रुपये की वार्षिक कैशलेस स्वास्थ्य सुविधा भी शामिल है। ये फ्रंटलाइन वर्कर सरकारी योजनाओं को लागू करने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाते हैं, जो बाल पोषण से लेकर मातृ देखभाल और स्वास्थ्य जागरूकता तक फैली हुई हैं।
