Google DeepMind Chief Reveals Gemini 4 Launch Timeline

Google's DeepMind is nearing the launch of its next major AI model, Gemini 4. Koray Kavukcuoglu, head of DeepMind, stated the model has entered post-training stages and aims for release "much earlier" than year-end. This comes as Google also released two new text-to-speech systems, Gemini 3.8 Flash TTS and Gemini 3.8 Flash-Lite TTS, designed to offer more expressive and adaptive voice generation for developers and businesses.
