Former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has heavily criticized the Indian bowlers and team management following the team's six-wicket defeat to West Indies in the second T20I. Despite India scoring a formidable 249 runs, the bowlers failed to defend the target, conceding 252 runs in 18.3 overs. Gavaskar stated that the batsmen cannot be blamed, as they posted a sufficient score. He questioned the bowlers' adherence to the game plan and the bowling coach's strategy, highlighting expensive spells from bowlers like Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh.
