INDIA Bloc Stages Mock Arrest Of CEC Gyanesh Kumar At Bengaluru Protest

The INDIA bloc held a protest at Bengaluru's Freedom Park, demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar over alleged manipulation of electoral rolls. Party workers enacted a mock arrest of Kumar as part of the demonstration. The protest, organised by the Congress and other progressive parties, is a continuation of a previous agitation in Delhi. Leaders including Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar and former CM Siddaramaiah attended the rally. The bloc plans to extend similar protests to districts across Karnataka.

INDIA गठबंधन ने बेंगलुरु के फ्रीडम पार्क में विरोध प्रदर्शन किया। उन्होंने चुनावी पर्चियों में हेरफेर के आरोप में मुख्य चुनाव आयुक्त ज्ञानेश कुमार के इस्तीफे की मांग की। प्रदर्शन के हिस्से के तौर पर पार्टी कार्यकर्ताओं ने कुमार की मॉक अरेस्ट का नाटक किया। कांग्रेस और अन्य प्रगतिशील पार्टियों द्वारा आयोजित यह विरोध प्रदर्शन दिल्ली में पहले हुए आंदोलन का ही एक हिस्सा है। कर्नाटक के डिप्टी सीएम डीके शिवकुमार और पूर्व सीएम सिद्धारमैया जैसे नेता भी इस रैली में शामिल हुए। गठबंधन कर्नाटक के जिलों में भी इसी तरह के विरोध प्रदर्शन करने की योजना बना रहा है।
