Uber Launches Flexible Passes and Safety Tools to Boost Driver Earnings

Uber has introduced new driver-centric initiatives in Kolkata aimed at enhancing earnings and safety for app-based mobility workers. These include Flexible Drive Passes allowing drivers to choose subscription periods from six hours to 180 days, and Quickstart for streamlined onboarding via WhatsApp. Additional features like Earn First, Pay Later and enhanced safety measures such as ambulance assistance through Dial 4242 are also being rolled out. The company is expanding earning avenues through intercity travel, parcel deliveries, and Uber Pet.
